LouEllen Washburn

A life long resident of Buffalo, NY, Ms. Washburn has been working with Lindy Korn since the inception of Diversity Training Workplace Solutions, Inc, and the Law Office of Lindy Korn, from 1997 to the present.

Her experience stems from working in what was once a predominantly male orientated industry, auto sales, where she saw first hand how women were treated differently, whether they were employees of the auto dealership, or customers. She was also employed by a world-wide employment placement service where she worked as a recruiter/placement specialist, witnessing how many people there actually were who would request a “specific” type of employee.

LouEllen was raised with handicapped parents and learned first hand the impact of discrimination.

LouEllen’s passion for Civil Rights issues as they apply to the workplace has contributed to her joy in supporting the boutique Law Office of Lindy Korn, where together they are creating options and remedies for victims of sexual harassment and retaliation.

When a potential client comes to talk to Lindy, they are upset, have been humiliated and have lost most of their self esteem, Lindy has helped them to regain that, which is a priority of our holistic practice. Watching a client leave our office with their heads held high is very rewarding and I am grateful to be a part of Lindy’s team."
