Diplomate of the American Board of Law Enforcement Experts:
The American Board of Law Enforcement Experts was established by the American College of Forensic Examiners to recognize the experience and education of individuals engaged in forensic examination in their field. Individuals approved for Diplomate Status must achieve proficiency in a variety of topics, procedures and ethical standards, and must meet rigorous criteria of the diplomate program. Information obtained from such highly skilled experts is often used in criminal cases and court testimony, with implications of local and national significance. The Diplomate program is registered with The National Certification Commission.
